Will I receive my Report to Member in the mail?
In an effort to reduce administrative costs and foster green practices, HMSA is launching a paperless initiative in August 2010. As part of the program, we will no longer mail Reports to Member (RTM) for medical and vision services to members who have PPO and HMO plans unless requested.
For information about your online claims information, please visit the Access your Report to Member online and View your drug claim information online articles.
The following chart shows various HMSA plans, the different RTMs available for them, and whether RTMs are mailed or available online.
| Plan | Medical & Vision RTM | Drug RTM | Dental RTM |
| PPO plans and HMO plans* | Online | Online | Online and mail |
| 65C Plus | Mail | Online and mail | Not applicable |
| Senior Connection | Mail | Not applicable | Not applicable |
| QUEST | Mail | Online and mail | Not applicable |
*PPO and HMO plan members - Paper copies of your medical and vision RTMs will be mailed to you if:
- There is a denial of service. The RTM will list all claims processed during the same time period as the denied service.
- A claim is filed for services from a nonparticipating provider.
- You specifically request your RTMs be mailed to you.
To request copies of your RTM in the mail, call HMSA Customer Service.
